Prompt: “Make it quiet”

“It's the first nice day of the year here in Portland. Sun is shining, it's above 40 degrees and people are out and about. I thought about the distinctive sounds of spring and how they have to compete with the noise of the city. This was my attempt at quieting the city and giving the sounds of the season a fighting chance.
The idea was given to me by my lovely partner Leah and I had assistance from my friends Renee, Drew and Sam, the lovely patrons of Blackstone's and all the citizens of Portland, Maine.”
