I just learned this phrase “faire à sa sauce” which is sort of about making your own salad dressing (which we always do in our home) and sort of about just doing your own thing. Like the Mardi Gras “do watchya wanna” vibe. Anyway, here is an old photo of when I lived in Paris. Guess which side of the room is mine. Faire à sa sauce baby! No time to tidy!
