Prompt: “Clean your bedroom”

Clean your bedroom poem came right after I recieved this prompt. I associated bedroom with a romantic relationship because “what other room would suit it better”. Cleaning on the other hand is a process of cleansing and letting go. And just like that this bittersweet story was ready to be born. The crossfire of emotion, rage, longing and dissappointment to grow to a bodily experience. We can always try to clean our minds by avoiding and circling around some things, but our lived lives will always be a part of us. So it’s better to make peace with it.
